Privacy Policy

SHOTCO Productions runs www.shotcopro.com. This page explains what the website collects when you visit and how SHOTCO uses QuickBooks for its own books. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean SHOTCO.
Contact forms
The home page and the CLUBGEN page have contact forms. They ask for your name, your email address and a message, plus your company, organization or club name. Each form also has two hidden fields that help us stop spam bots: an empty trap field and the time the form loaded.
When you send a form, our server emails your details to SHOTCO through Resend, an email delivery service. The email lists your name, email address, company or organization, the type of inquiry and your message. We use them to reply to you.
The website has no database, so it doesn't keep its own copy of what you send. It also has no user accounts and takes no payments.
Analytics
Our pages load Google Analytics, which counts visits and page views. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google details of your visit, such as the page you're on, the page title and your screen size. It also records when you scroll near the bottom of a page, when you click a link to another site and where it goes, and when you start filling in a contact form, including the name of the first field you use. It can also record file downloads, video plays and site searches.
Our pages also load Vercel Analytics. It sends Vercel the address of the page you're on and, when you arrive from another site, that site's address. Its script doesn't set cookies.
Ads
The home page and the CLUBGEN page show banner ads from the SHOTCO ad network. A script from our own ad server puts them on the page.
The script saves a random visitor ID in your browser's local storage. The ID doesn't contain your name or email address. On those pages, the script sends our ad server the website name, the page path and that ID. It also reports when an ad shows on your screen and when you click one.
Our ad server keeps those records in a database hosted by Supabase. Each record also holds your browser's user agent, which names your browser and device. It also holds a one-way fingerprint made from your IP address, not the IP address itself. That lets us tell real visitors from bot traffic and answer advertisers' questions about their ad counts. We use these records to count page views, unique visitors, ad views and ad clicks across our network, and to balance which ads show.
An ad can load its image from another company's server, or run inside an isolated frame from the advertiser's own ad service. That company's server then sees your browser's request. When you click an ad, the advertiser's site opens in a new tab, and the link can carry tags that tell the advertiser the click came through the SHOTCO network.
Cookies and local storage
Our own website code doesn't set cookies. Google Analytics does, and an advertiser's ad service can set its own when one of its ads runs in a frame. The visitor ID from the ad script sits in local storage, not a cookie. You can clear or block all of these in your browser's settings.
Hosting and other services
Vercel hosts this website and our ad server, so your browser's requests for our pages go to Vercel. The sample newsletter on the home page loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Any service your browser connects to, including Vercel and Google, can see your IP address.
Links to other websites
The website links to other websites, including the properties in our network. This policy doesn't cover those sites.
QuickBooks
SHOTCO keeps its own books in QuickBooks Online. The SHOTCO team, including our AI assistant Claude (made by Anthropic), may read the SHOTCO QuickBooks company records through a private connection for billing and bookkeeping. Those records include customers, vendors, employees, invoices, bills, payments and reports. When Claude reads them, that data is sent to Anthropic, which handles it under its own terms. SHOTCO also keeps records of those sessions on its own computers.
The connection is set up to read only. It connects only to the SHOTCO company file and isn't offered to anyone else.
If you do business with or work for SHOTCO, your customer, vendor or employee record and your invoices, bills and payments can be among those records. This website doesn't connect to QuickBooks.
